When you use SEGEO, we collect information necessary to provide our services:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account when you sign in via Firebase Authentication.
  • Repository data: When you connect a GitHub repository, we access the repository's public code, configuration files, and content to analyze your design system and generate blog components.
  • Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the dashboard, including pages visited, features used, and blog generation activity.
  • Generated content: Blog posts, keywords, and trend data generated by the platform are stored in Firebase Firestore.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve SEGEO's services
  • Analyze your connected repositories to generate theme-adaptive blog systems
  • Generate SEO and GEO-optimized blog content based on real-time trends
  • Send notifications about blog generation status and system updates
  • Ensure content safety through our 4-layer moderation pipeline

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Firebase Authentication). Firebase provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit, SOC 2 compliance, and ISO 27001 certification.

GitHub access tokens are stored securely and are only used to read repository code and commit generated blog content. We never store your GitHub password.

4. Third-Party Services

SEGEO integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Firebase / Google Cloud: Authentication, database, hosting, and AI content generation (Gemini)
  • GitHub API: Repository access for code analysis and blog deployment
  • Grok API (xAI): Real-time trend discovery from X.com
  • OpenAI Moderation API: Content safety verification

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for service improvement.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your generated blog content at any time
  • Disconnect your GitHub repository at any time

7. Cookies

SEGEO uses essential cookies for authentication (Firebase session cookies). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the dashboard or sending an email to your registered address.
