Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SEGEO (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SEGEO is an autonomous SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) blog generation platform. The Service connects to your GitHub repositories, discovers real-time trends, and generates search-optimized blog content using AI technology.

3. Account Registration

To use SEGEO, you must sign in with a Google account via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. GitHub Repository Access

When you connect a GitHub repository, you grant SEGEO permission to:

  • Read your repository's code and configuration files
  • Analyze your codebase to extract design system information
  • Create new files and commit blog content to your repository
  • Modify navigation components to include blog links

You may revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the repository in the dashboard or revoking the OAuth token in your GitHub settings.

5. Generated Content

Blog posts generated by SEGEO are created using AI (Firebase AI / Gemini) based on real-time trends and your repository's context. While we apply a 4-layer content moderation pipeline:

  • You retain full ownership of all generated content
  • You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing to production
  • SEGEO does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or originality of generated content
  • Generated content should be reviewed for factual accuracy before publication

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SEGEO to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Spam or manipulate search engines in ways that violate their guidelines
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the free tier

7. Service Availability

SEGEO is currently in beta. We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Pricing and Payment

During the beta period, SEGEO is free to use. When paid plans are introduced, we will provide at least 30 days notice. Existing free-tier users will continue to have access to the free plan.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEGEO and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
